Overview:
CI Segall Bryant & Hamill seeks a Junior Fixed Income Analyst to join our team. The Junior Fixed Income Analyst will report to the Director, of Fixed Income Research & Portfolio Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- The analyst will be tasked with credit research responsibilities. In general, analysts are responsible for providing independent, detail-oriented analysis within the SBH credit research process framework that aids portfolio managers in the evaluation of buy/sell decisions and the monitoring of securities held in clients’ portfolios.
- Analysts are responsible for certain consistent and repeated responsibilities, including the maintenance of financial statement models and quality evaluation/risk monitoring screens.
- The analyst will also serve in meaningful roles across a range of fixed income investment management responsibilities.
- The analyst will be aiding us in our work on portfolio analytics, providing quantitative support and supporting certain trading responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Experience
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- High proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg and database applications
- College degree in a related field
- Experience with financial modeling
- CFA designation, or willingness to pursue the CFA designation

Pay Information
This position is exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of Illinois. The pay range for this position is $88,000-100,000 USD per year. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
