A growing marketing and promotions firm in Baxter, MN is actively hiring a Marketing & Promotions Associate to represent nationally recognized brands within the sustainability, technology, telecommunications, and renewable energy sectors.
This full-time W-2 position offers a base salary of $45,000–$55,000 with uncapped commission opportunities, paid training, and the chance to build experience in event marketing, brand promotion, and customer acquisition.
The Marketing & Promotions Associate will work directly with consumers during retail events and promotional campaigns, learning how to communicate product benefits, deliver engaging brand presentations, and generate new customer enrollments through professional sales and marketing strategies.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Marketing & Promotions Associate, you will receive hands-on training in brand marketing, promotional outreach, and retail customer engagement while working directly with consumers inside retail environments and promotional event settings.
Responsibilities include learning detailed product knowledge for sustainability, renewable energy, telecommunications, and technology clients and confidently explaining those offerings to customers during in-store marketing promotions and retail events.
You will practice and execute proven sales scripts, participate in customer engagement and lead generation, and use effective communication and marketing techniques to promote services and answer questions. The role also involves performing live product demonstrations, explaining service promotions, supporting customer acquisition campaigns, and helping brands expand their market presence through event marketing and promotional outreach.
Team members are trained on consultative selling techniques, customer relationship development, and how to professionally approach customers, build rapport, and guide them through service enrollment or account setup during promotional campaigns.
Training & Growth Opportunities
This role provides structured training in marketing strategy, brand promotion, retail sales techniques, customer interaction, and promotional campaign execution. Associates gain experience in event coordination, consumer marketing, promotional advertising, and field marketing operations while working with multiple nationally recognized clients across several industries.
