Red Cedar TG is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and self-starting TRANSVIZ Analyst/Trainer Mid to join our team in O'Fallon, IL.

The salary range for this position is $80,000-$95,000 annually and is dependent on geographical location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities
Application Support and Functional Expertise
The TRANSVIZ Analyst provides functional support to USTRANSCOM users across the Joint Planning and Execution Community by assisting them with the use of the TransViz application and related systems. The TRANSVIZ Analyst maintains functional documentation and coordinates system improvements. This includes reviewing and updating TRANSVIZ documentation such as CONOPS, SOPs, and user manuals whenever software changes affect operational procedures. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting users in operating TransViz tools and related applications
- Assisting commands with data retrieval, reporting, and dashboard configuration
- Facilitating collaboration and analysis across operational planning organizations
- Identifying anomalies or issues affecting system functionality and command operations
- The analyst monitors system performance and participates in meetings, working groups, and conferences to identify issues and recommend improvements to the application.
- Track Government-submitted software issues and enhancement requests and coordinates with developers to ensure resolution and improvement of system capabilities.
Training Development and Delivery
The TRANSVIZ Analyst serves as the primary trainer for TRANSVIZ users. The role requires development of an annual course outline covering all aspects of TRANSVIZ functionality and delivery of training sessions for new and experienced users. The TRANSVIZ Analyst must support up to four in-resident training sessions annually and recurring virtual sessions, ensuring users understand system capabilities and updates. Training responsibilities include:
- Developing training schedules and lesson plans
- Conducting in-resident and virtual training sessions
- Delivering application demonstrations and scenario-based instruction
- Collecting participant feedback and reporting training outcomes
Requirements
- Must have an active Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, logistics, transportation management, education, or a related field preferred. Additional relevant years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Knowledge of TRANSVIZ concepts, functions, and operational use within the JOPES environment supporting deployment planning and transportation analysis.
- Ability to independently operate and assist Government personnel in the use of TransViz and related applications including visualization tools, collaboration environments, and supporting Windows-based applications.
- Demonstrated experience providing user support, troubleshooting issues, and assisting operational users in accomplishing tasks within enterprise or mission planning systems.
- Knowledge of joint deployment planning processes, transportation planning workflows, and operational coordination within the Joint Planning and Execution Community.
- Ability to develop instructional materials including course outlines, lesson plans, and training guides that support both new user onboarding and refresher training.
- Experience conducting classroom and virtual training sessions, including preparing instructional materials, presenting system capabilities, and evaluating student comprehension.
- Ability to develop and maintain training schedules and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure training sessions are properly planned, staffed, and executed.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional delivery methods applicable to operational systems training environments.
- Ability to collect and analyze training feedback to improve course content, training materials, and instructional effectiveness.
- Knowledge of enterprise system account administration processes, including user account creation, modification, deletion, and access control practices.
- Ability to analyze user account issues, identify anomalies, and implement corrective actions to maintain proper system access and permissions.
- Ability to support system improvement initiatives, working groups, and meetings by documenting issues, preparing meeting summaries, and recommending corrective actions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data, identify system issues, and communicate findings to Government personnel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to operational users and develop clear instructional documentation.
- Superb planning, coordination, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage training events, user support activities, and documentation tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities in a high-tempo operational environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail and mission focus.
- Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and strong work ethic in delivering high-quality support to Government stakeholders.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in support of mission needs.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
Desired
- Prior experience supporting USTRANSCOM, Joint Staff, combatant command, or global mobility operations.
- Experience providing functional support or training for operational planning systems such as JOPES, TRANSVIZ, GDSS, or other deployment planning applications.
- Knowledge of GCCS-J operational concepts and related command and control environments.
- Experience supporting operational planning or transportation systems used for contingency planning and execution.
- Familiarity with visualization tools, collaborative planning environments, or operational data analysis tools used in mobility planning.
- Experience supporting system working groups, user forums, or operational community coordination activities.
- Experience preparing operational reports, system usage metrics, or training effectiveness assessments.
- Familiarity with DoD operational planning doctrine, mobility processes, and joint deployment procedures.
- Experience supporting distributed training environments, including virtual instruction or remote user support.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement practices that enhance training effectiveness, operational system usage, and mission support outcomes.
