About Sonsie
Sonsie is a way of being.
Led by Pamela Anderson, Sonsie exists to make space for people to be exactly who they are. We believe beauty isn’t about correction or perfection, it’s about comfort, rhythm, and coming home to yourself.
Our products are designed to fit seamlessly into real life, supporting your skin while simplifying your routine. No excess. No pressure. Just daily essentials that feel good to use and easy to return to.
Sonsie is for those who see beauty as something lived, cultivated slowly, intentionally, and with care.
The Role
As our Social Content Associate, you’ll be the primary executor of our Lane 2 content — the always-on, human, platform-native layer of Sonsie’s social presence. While our Lane 1 content focuses on cinematic world-building and brand campaigns, Lane 2 is where the brand becomes livable: warm, educational, community-rooted, and real.
This role is primarily behind the camera. You’re the eye — the person who sees the moment, frames it, and knows how to make it land. Occasionally you’ll be on camera when it’s natural and right, but your craft as a shooter and editor comes first.
You’ll shoot, edit, and publish short-form video content that feels warm and human without losing the soul of the brand. This role reports into the Social Media + Content Manager.
How You’ll Spend Your Time
Creating & Editing Content (Primary Focus)
• Shoot and edit short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels on a weekly basis, primarily executing across our five Lane 2 content pillars:
- Product Education — making the science and benefits of Sonsie products feel human and accessible
- Community — capturing and amplifying the people who love the brand
- UGC — editing and repurposing creator content into polished, on-brand assets
- BTS — giving people a real look inside the brand, shoots, and team
- Brand POV / Philosophy — short, thoughtful content that expresses what Sonsie believes
• Edit multiple versions of content, testing hooks, captions, and formats. Identify strong organic performers and adapt or push them into paid media when appropriate, in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Edit primarily in CapCut (or similar tools), with a strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and trend-aware execution.
• Adapt trends thoughtfully to fit Sonsie’s aesthetic and voice rather than chasing what’s loud.
Shooting & Capturing
• Shoot content in a variety of settings: studio, office, outdoors, travel, events, and on-the-go moments.
• Capture behind-the-scenes content from shoots, launches, community moments, and brand activations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external creators to ensure consistent visual language across all content.
• Shoot and edit content featuring Pamela and travel to select brand moments, events, and shoots as needed.
Platform Execution & Optimization
• Publish and schedule content across TikTok and Instagram using a shared content calendar.
• Optimize edits for platform-specific performance (hooks, length, pacing, captions).
• Monitor performance and help refine content direction based on what’s resonating.
Creative Collaboration
• Meet in-person once a week with the team for content reviews, planning, shoots, and creative alignment.
• Support campaign shoots, paid media creative, and UGC editing needs.
• Participate in weekly planning, brainstorms, and creative reviews.
• Help maintain consistency in Sonsie’s visual identity and tone across all social touchpoints.
