Our client is looking to add a Engineering Graphics & Design Technician to their team, who will deliver high-quality civil engineering design drawings.
Schedule: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday
Location: Lisle, IL

Salary: $60,000+
Description
The Engineering Graphics & Design Technician will collaborate closely with civil engineering teams to create detailed construction drawings and design documents for transportation and infrastructure projects. This position is a great fit for individuals looking to build a strong technical foundation in roadway/highway design, utility layouts, grading, and related project visuals.:
- Prepare and edit engineering drawings, exhibits, and plans using CAD and design software
- Support civil engineers with visual design components for roadways, stormwater systems, utilities, and erosion control
- Assist with developing cost estimates, project documentation, and submittals for agency review
- Organize and maintain drawing files, templates, and project standards
Job Requirements
- 0-3+ years of experience in engineering graphics or drafting
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred. Associate in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field required.
- Prior experience with AutoCAD required. Experience with Bentley MicroStation or OpenRoads Designer preferred.
- Familiarity with Civil/Site or Transportation Infrastructure projects preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
