Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled
Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at our Greenville, South Carolina facility. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for improving manufacturing efficiency, optimizing production processes, and ensuring the highest standards of product quality and operational performance.
The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in analyzing production workflows, troubleshooting equipment and manufacturing issues, and implementing process improvements that increase productivity while reducing cost and waste. This role requires strong collaboration with production, quality, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Additionally, the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for maintaining required third-party testing certifications and product qualifications, including
Energy Star compliance, ensuring that all processes and products meet regulatory and quality standards.
Candidates must be located in Greenville, SC or willing to relocate, as this position requires full-time onsite presence.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Process Optimization
- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and productivity
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste, cycle time, and production costs
- Develop and implement process improvements and workflow optimization initiatives
- Monitor production metrics and performance indicators to drive operational improvements
Production Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide technical support to production teams and assist with resolving manufacturing issues
- Troubleshoot equipment and process problems to minimize downtime
- Work closely with maintenance and production staff to improve equipment reliability
- Support machining operations and production processes
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain third-party testing and certifications, including Energy Star qualification
- Work with quality teams to resolve production quality issues
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and operations teams
- Support new product introduction and manufacturing readiness activities
- Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate technical information clearly to team members and leadership
Lean & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in Lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives
- Support cost reduction and productivity improvement programs
- Assist with implementing best practices in manufacturing engineering
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles and production processes
- Experience with industrial engineering and process optimization
- Understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and manufacturing equipment
- Experience with machining operations and techniques
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Must be able to work onsite in Greenville, SC
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience supporting quality improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with manufacturing compliance standards or certification programs
- Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment

Work Environment
