What's your day like?
As a Private Equity Analyst at McFarlin Group, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Build and maintain detailed financial models for acquisitions, developments, and recapitalizations.
- Analyze historical and projected financial statements, operating metrics, and capital structures.
- Conduct market research on seniors housing and healthcare trends, demographics, supply/demand, and competitive sets.
- Assist in preparing investment memoranda, presentations, and supporting materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support and coordinate due diligence processes, including third-party reports, legal review, and lender/investor requests.
- Track and analyze portfolio property performance versus underwriting and budgets; identify value creation opportunities and risks.
- Prepare recurring reporting and analysis for lenders and investors as needed.
- Participate in site visits and meetings with operating partners and property-level management teams.
- Assist with special projects, including fundraising materials, strategy analyses, and ad hoc financial and operational projects.
