Today, most business payments are initiated without a reliable, upfront view of who is being paid.
Aplite provides a Universal Payment Identifier (UPI) that binds a verified business identity to its permitted payment destinations. This creates a consistent identity layer across banks, ERPs, and payment rails, improving payment integrity, reducing operational risk, and enabling safer automation at scale
Role :
We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer to shape the visual and product experience of Aplite. You’ll work directly with the founder and engineering team to turn complex payment and identity infrastructure into clear, intuitive, user‑friendly product experiences.
As one of the first design hires, you’ll own our product’s visual identity and interaction language across the platform. Your work will define how businesses see and use identity‑native payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product UI: Design clean, modern interfaces for Aplite’s web app, dashboards, and core workflows.
- User experience: Translate complex financial and identity flows into simple, intuitive journeys.
- Design system: Build and maintain a cohesive design system for components, layouts, and states.
- Visual & brand: Create graphics and visual assets for product, marketing, website, and decks.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with the founder and engineers to turn product ideas into shippable designs.
- Iteration: Incorporate feedback, refine flows, and improve usability through rapid iteration.
- Awareness: Stay current on UI/UX, fintech, and modern web design trends and patterns.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years experience designing digital products, ideally in fintech or high-growth startups.
- Strong portfolio showing product UI, UX flows, and visual design craft.
- Proficient with Figma and modern design tools (Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
- Ability to balance clarity, usability, and aesthetics in complex workflows.
- Comfortable working closely with founders and engineers in a fast‑moving startup.
- Sharp eye for layout, typography, hierarchy, and interaction states
