We are seeking a talented Assistant Designer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the design process for knits, sweaters, and accessories in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Design Lead with seasonal fabric orders and color selection.
- Support the creation of black and white sketches and color up all designs.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align design objectives.
- Create Client Paks and Tech Paks in partnership with Production and Tech Design teams.
Skills
- Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to the fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of fabric types and color theory.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the fashion industry, particularly with knitwear and accessories.
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and market demands.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
