Initial 6-month Brand Marketing Analyst
Location: Hybrid 1 day per week in the office (Tuesdays) downtown Chicago, IL
Duration: Initial 6-month contract with high potential to extend with 6-month increments
Pay Rate: $35-40/hr W2
OVERVIEW:
The Analyst will support measurement, analytics, and reporting for marketing campaigns that promote the client’s brand consideration, preference, and loyalty.
We’re seeking an individual contributor with experience in marketing analytics across paid, social, and owned media channels. The position requires experience with gathering and analyzing marketing and advertising data and drafting reports.
A high level of organization and the ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-drive environment are important skills. A customer service mindset is essential as we strive to provide support and timely responses to business stakeholders.
This position is based in Chicago with at least one day in the office per week at the client’s headquarters in downtown Chicago. The role may involve occasional travel for company events and meetings.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gather metrics like impressions, reach, engagement rate, click-through rate, and share rate from campaign dashboards, social media platforms, and other tools
- Analyze data to assess effectiveness and campaign success
- Generate insights and write key takeaways about creative concepts, content formats and lengths, and media channel distribution
- Design and deliver reports in PowerPoint decks and email recaps for the client's leadership and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to integrated marketing communications reports and presentations
- Liaise with advertising agencies and measurement vendors on data gathering and report development as needed
- Provide recommendations to Brand Marketing team to make data-driven decisions for future marketing campaigns
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or social media analytics
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics tools
- Knowledge of marketing measurement tools and platforms
- Knowledge of various media channels (paid, social, owned, earned)
- Ability to translate data into learnings and insights for leadership
- Strong attention to detail
