Seasonal Floral Designer – Part Time

Local florist seeking an experienced, efficient, and creative Floral Designer to provide seasonal design support during our upcoming busy season.
Our ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced floral shop and can assist with a variety of floral design needs.
Responsibilities
- Create floral arrangements efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment during busy holiday and spring seasons
- Design floral arrangements independently for everyday orders, special occasions, holidays, weddings, funerals, proms/homecoming, wreaths, and special events
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace during each shift
- Assist with flower processing
- Work with creativity and independence while supporting the shop’s overall design style and aesthetic
- Remain open to feedback, and adapt designs to match the shop’s preferred style and vibe
- Qualifications
- Prior floral design experience required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
- Reliable, dependable, and maintains a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting as needed
- Strong attention to detail and design quality
Schedule / Hours
- Seasonal support during busy weeks leading up to major holidays and events, including Easter, Prom, Mother’s Day, and wedding season
- Part-time hours may vary based on shop volume
- Potential for additional seasonal hours throughout the year during major holidays

This position is intended as seasonal support during peak holiday and event periods and is not currently structured as a permanent part-time role. Designers may be considered for future seasonal support opportunities throughout the year.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
