Our graphic design and production associates are responsible for the designing and production of signs, graphics, and assisting with the screen printing of t-shirts and apparel. You will have plenty of opportunities to work in different areas of the shop and learn new hands-on skills.

You may also be asked to make a delivery sometime! All of our vehicles are under CDL so you DO NOT need to be a CDL driver, but will need a valid driver's license and our insurance will run a driver's record check. You must be capable and comfortable of driving these vehicles for deliveries, meetings, etc.:

This is a part-time position so we can work around class schedules if you are a student or would be a great supplemental position to your full-time job or retirement!

Our store is open Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

We're closed on weekends and holidays.

This part-time position would be 8am-Noon or 1pm-5pm, Monday-Friday

We are also open to doing 3 full days per week instead of multiple part days

Starting pay depends on experience

This position has room for increase in pay and hours based on performance, speed and your ability to be trained and be a great team player!

This part-time position could also be a shoe-in for a future full-time position is anything opens up!

As the Part-Time Graphic Designer and Production Associate, you’ll:

Design, layout and printing of signs and graphics
Measure accurately and take pictures of vehicles, trailers, signs, etc. that are brought to the shop. These pictures and measurements are used for designing and quoting projects
Operate a flatbed printer, wide format roll-to-roll printers, and vinyl plotter
Answer phones when needed (if front desk associate is out or on the other line)
Have outgoing and positive attitude, this is sometimes a customer service position
Cut various substrates to size using X-ACTO knives, a vertical panel saw, and a shear, as needed
Sign painting and assembly
Use a wide-format laminating roller table to laminate printed vinyl graphics, and to apply vinyl graphics to various substrates, including aluminum composite, coroplast, and PVC
Weed and mask vinyl graphics
Screen printing shirts and garments, preparing screens, etc.
Assist in routine maintenance of equipment and cleaning of the shop and vehicles
Make deliveries in company vehicles
Help keep track of inventory
Training will be provided

Requirements:

Willing to do physical labor
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Good at basic math, fractions, and use of a tape measure for measuring signs
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to lift 100 pounds

Skills required:

Sign and graphic design and printing experience is preferred but not required
Familiarity and experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Google-based and Microsoft-based programs
Capable of lifting 50-80 lb rolls of print media. Our designers also load and operate the printers so lifting rolls and sheets of material is required
Technical skills necessary to operate computer programs.
Ability to learn the operation of the sign making equipment.
Math, Measuring, and Spelling aptitude.
