Position Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager, Procurement Systems, to join a leading global life sciences organization with operations across North America, Europe, and APAC. This role will support a large-scale procurement systems transformation initiative focused on standardizing procurement processes, implementing Coupa, and coordinating enterprise-wide system and business readiness efforts across multiple functions and geographies.
This is a hybrid role working onsite 3 days a week in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Essential Duties:
- Lead project management for a global procurement systems standardization and Coupa implementation program.
- Manage the deployment of procurement processes and supporting enterprise platforms.
- Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across cross-functional workstreams.
- Coordinate with IT, Procurement, Finance, and Operations stakeholders to ensure delivery alignment.
- Oversee governance, executive reporting, and stakeholder communications.
- Maintain project plans, implementation playbooks, and program documentation.
- Support integration readiness across procurement, finance, and sales systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field required.
- 7+ years of project management or program management experience required.
- Proven experience leading enterprise IT systems implementations required.
- Experience supporting procurement or source-to-pay platform implementations preferred.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments preferred.
- Experience in medical device, biotech, or pharmaceutical environments preferred.
Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with Coupa or other Source-to-Pay platforms.
- Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.
- Understanding of SAP S/4HANA and enterprise system integrations.
- Knowledge of finance standards including ASC 606 and ASC 842.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and program tracking capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in large, matrixed global organizations.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Exposure to GxP or validation processes within regulated industries preferred.
Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $55 – 75.
