Creative Solutions Intern – North America
Time Out is looking for a curious, creative and highly organized intern to join our Creative
Solutions team in North America. This NYC-based role sits at the intersection of branded
content, pre-sale strategy and post-sale campaign management, offering hands-on experience
across multiple parts of the business.
You’ll work closely with the team that brings Time Out’s brand partnerships to life, from
helping develop creative ideas and insights for proposals to supporting live campaigns and
recap reporting. The ideal candidate is passionate about city culture, experiences, food, travel,
entertainment and local discovery, and is excited about turning those cultural moments into
creative marketing ideas that help brands connect with audiences in meaningful ways.
What You’ll Do
You will rotate through the various responsibilities of the Creative Solutions team including:
Pre-Sale Support
- Help create and update sales materials such as sales one-sheets and local marketing
- materials
- Assist with audience insights using tools like GWI
- Support brainstorming sessions and creative ideation for large brand partnership proposals
- Conduct research to support pitch development and creative strategy
Post-Sale Support
- Assist with campaign recap reports using internal templates
- Help build and maintain influencer and tastemaker lists, including agency contacts and creator research
- Fact-check and update influencer databases to ensure contacts are relevant and current
- Support venue scouting and help organize and pitch Time Out Live opportunities
- Assist in building creative assets using templates for dark social posts and campaign materials
Branded Content Support
- Assist with writing promotional copy and branded content drafts
- Support editorial-style storytelling for partner campaigns
- Help review and fact-check content before it goes live
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and fact-checking
- Curious about culture, travel, food, entertainment and city experiences
- Comfortable working across multiple projects and teams
- Strong research skills and the ability to identify great content and creators
- Visual or graphic design skills are a plus
- Creative thinker with good instincts for storytelling and audience engagement

Requirements
Internship Details
- This is a paid internship
- Approximately 20 hours per week for four months
- Hybrid schedule, with the expectation that you’ll come into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Additional hours may be completed remotely
- Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or a recent graduate
- Interest in pursuing a career in marketing, media, advertising, partnerships or creative strategy
The ideal candidate will have experience using the following tools:
- Google Slides/PowerPoint
- Canva or basic design tools
- Excel/Google Sheets
- Social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Research tools or audience insight platforms (GWI experience a bonus, but not required)
