Job Title: Temporary, Public Relations Coordinator
Reports to: Public Relations Manager / Public Relations Director / Vice President of Public Relations
Job Purpose
Performs a wide variety of complex and confidential administrative duties in support of the department. Works with the Public Relations Team to build strong relationships with content providers, tastemakers, and outside agencies throughout the Fashion Industry. This role is crucial for securing print press coverage in the US and Canada.
Job responsibilities
Tasks And Responsibilities
- Generate weekly press reports/press clippings for all categories across print publications.
- Work with editorial partners to fulfill product requests and coordinate editorial requests.
- Develop monthly "covers" press reports for all categories.
- Manage sample trafficking between the press department for editorial requests.
- Generate "credits" report from all publications.
- Maintain sample closet and magazine archives.
- Manage logistics including shipping and receiving samples for editorials.
- Supports department by carrying out tasks and assignments accurately and in a timely manner with direction and independently as needed.
- Facilitation of packages, editorial tagging, monthly reports and books, research and competitive reports.
- Showroom maintenance.
- Initiate and respond to written and verbal correspondence.
- Arrange and coordinate conferences and meetings.
- Coordinate press appointments, events, etc.
- Any other tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements
- 1-2 years prior experience in fashion PR or consumer goods.
- BA in Communications or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (ie; Excel, Access, Word).
- Strong telephone techniques and skills.
- Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing and handling information of a confidential, controversial, and sensitive nature.
- Ability to establish work priorities and remain flexible.
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels of the organization and the public.
Additional information
The selected candidate will be offered a salary within the range of $20 - $25 per hour. The salary offered will be dependent upon the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
