Basic Purpose:
As part of the Parker Rose Design Team, this role supports staging and luxury leasing projects of all sizes. Job duties include, but are not limited to selecting furniture, creating design presentations, building contracts, site walks for measurements, client design calls, and accessory planning and selection. This role helps to maintain the organization of the Parker Rose Design accessory warehouse, working closely with our Housewares Lead and Design Manager. The ideal candidate is creative, detail oriented, organized, operates well as part of a team, and is passionate about interior design.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Assist Designer with installs
· Pull, coordinate and organize accessories for client projects
· Maintain organization of accessory warehouse
· Provide space plans for projects with confidence in scale
· Assist team with model moves
· Proficient inventory knowledge of size, color and fabric type
· Create Design Presentations
· Update project tracker
· Assist other PRD team members with site walks, proficient in design measurements and photos
· Full knowledge of SAGE
· Problem solving and design creativity
· Update and maintain outlook calendar daily
· Maintain organized shared project files
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Other duties may be assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Minimum – 2-year Associates Degree in Interior Design.
Preferred - Bachelor’s Degree in Design or related field.
2 years’ experience in design industry.
