Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Navigate through 3D cad designs and assemblies for a variety of ergonomic and automation tooling.
- Work with other professionals within and outside of engineering.
- Review 3D models for safety concerns, accurate geometry, and completion.
- Work concurrently on one or more projects.
- Collaborate as a productive member on large projects.
- Create a good learning environment for the design team.
- Analyzes and interprets engineering drawings and other technical data.
- Work with current vendors to explain and maintain our expectations in terms of quality.
- Schedule and manage all external professional services related to quality.
- Work with Invio Automation Engineering to improve print accuracy/communication from our internal resources.
- Develop and implement quality standards.
- Develop plans to track and manage company waste.
- Maintain inspection equipment.
- Perform internal quality checks (processing mating parts together/verifying purchased parts fit together).
- Assist Manufacturing Engineer with inspecting print packages prior to release as needed.
- Communicate with team members to solve quality issues.
- Train other Invio Automation team members on inspection processes and methods.
- Maintain and manage internal stock component inventory levels.
- Led ISO compliance initiatives, coordinating calibration activities and site audits to ensure adherence to quality and regulatory standards.

Other Skills and Abilities:
- MS Office Tools/Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required)
- Adobe Acrobat Professional PDF Software – proficient for use of illustration markups; or use of a similar PDF (electronic) markup tool
- Preference given to individuals proficient in the use of NX and SolidWorks 3D modeling software.
- Customer Interaction/Customer Service skills required (some positions involve direct customer interface)

EDUCATION
Prefer a four-year degree in design, mechanical engineering, manufacturing or a related field or equivalent documented experience. Requires at least two years of experience in machining and validating machined material; experience in the auto industry is helpful.
