POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an Industrial Piping Design Engineer with direct, hands-on experience in:
- Lead full project lifecycle for industrial mechanical installation projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Petrochemical / refinery construction or operations
- Power plant construction — boiler, turbine, pressure systems
- General industrial / heavy manufacturing facility construction
- Industrial piping and mechanical construction (ASME B31.1 / B31.3)
This role is field-oriented and requires close coordination with construction and commissioning teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Designed industrial process piping (not HVAC piping)
- Review and interpret P&IDs for industrial utility and process systems
- Develop plant piping layouts considering constructability and access
- Perform piping routing using AutoCAD (Plant 3D preferred)
- Produce piping isometric drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Apply ASME B31.1 / B31.3 for pressure piping systems
- Prepare and update as-built drawings based on field conditions
- Respond to RFIs and support construction teams during installation
- Perform interference and clash checks with other disciplines
- Coordinate directly with field, construction, and commissioning personnel
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial process piping design experience
- Hands-on application of ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 (REQUIRED)
- Experience producing piping isometrics and piping BOMs
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Plant 3D preferred)
- Experience supporting construction-phase piping design
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must be available for immediate or near-immediate start
- No visa sponsorship available
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in EV battery plants, chemical plants, or industrial utilities
- Experience with boiler systems, process utilities, or SRP
- Field walkdowns and direct construction coordination experience
- Ability to respond to RFIs in English
