FWDG is a 54-year-old, growing furniture store with a marketing and digital solutions department second to none.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our marketing initiatives and help execute campaigns.
Position Overview
The Marketing Assistant will support day-to-day marketing activities including campaign execution, content creation, social media management, and administrative marketing tasks. This role requires someone with prior marketing experience who can work collaboratively with our team in an on-site environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns
- Manage and schedule social media posts across platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
- Help create marketing content including graphics, posts, advertisements, and promotional materials
- Support email marketing initiatives and contact list management
- Assist with website updates and digital marketing projects
- Track campaign performance and compile basic marketing reports
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team
Qualifications
- Prior experience in marketing, digital marketing, communications, or advertising
- Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of marketing analytics and reporting
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Canva
- Experience with marketing platforms (e.g., social media schedulers, email marketing tools, or design software) is a plus
Additional Required Skills
- Experience with social media marketing and content scheduling
- Basic graphic design skills
- Familiarity with SEO or website content updates
- Experience with email marketing platforms
- Comfort using AI tools for marketing content or research
Work Environment
- On-site position only
- Collaborative team environment
Schedule
- Part-time: 20–25 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling within normal business hours
Compensation
- $18 – $25 per hour depending on experience
