Intermediate Interior Designer (Part Time)

JPR Design is a boutique interior design studio based in Tampa, Florida, specializing in luxury residential projects. The studio is hands on, fast paced, and detail driven, managing projects from concept through installation with a small, focused team.
Role Description
JPR Design is seeking a part time Intermediate Interior Designer with 2–4 years of experience, with the opportunity to grow into a full time role.
This is an on site, hands on position that includes job site visits, measurements, sourcing, order tracking, and active involvement in the design process. The role requires someone who is self motivated, takes ownership of tasks, and is comfortable working independently without constant direction.
You will be working directly one on one with the owner, so this is not a traditional studio with multiple layers. It offers strong exposure to all aspects of the design process and requires a high level of accountability.
This is a small team environment, so the ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage shifting priorities is essential.
Responsibilities
- Attend job site visits and take accurate measurements
- Lead and support design development and sourcing FF and E
- Prepare drawings, layouts, and visual studies
- Track furniture orders, deliveries, and installations
- Maintain project schedules and documentation
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in interior design
- Based in Tampa, Florida with reliable transportation
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Self motivated with the ability to take initiative and follow through
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp required
*This is a working role within a small boutique studio. The ideal candidate is engaged, proactive, and enjoys both the creative and operational sides of a busy design environment. This is not a passive role.
