Job Purpose:
- Develop a deep understanding of the US operating environment including local regulations, evolving market developments and their impact on the growth of the addressable universe of companies operating in the US. Map and facilitate extending the relationship from India to US and support these companies on the products and services offered by ICICI Bank New York Branch
- Ensuring continuous coverage of US companies, that have an existing India presence/looking to expand in India. Ensure an understanding of their India business requirement and pitch appropriate products.
- Ensuring end-to-end ownership of delivering client service working alongside both external and internal stakeholders. Ensuring in spirit implementation of Fair to Bank and Fair to Customer principle
- Evaluate opportunities to grow the asset book through credit facilities to these companies for US operations.
- Evaluating and preparing credit proposals, carrying-out due-diligence and presenting to the relevant committees for approval including Credit Risk Officer and Management Credit Committee / Risk Committee
- Conducting periodic review with India business teams in India on the portfolio clients and to formulate joint product and coverage strategy
- Maintain a portfolio of liability accounts, owning the relationship for regular monitoring as per Bank’s internal policies
- Work jointly with NRI services and diaspora engagement team at the Branch to ensure coverage of Indian origin corporate employees and increase penetration of NRI products on remittance and home loans. Propagate Brand ICICI in the US geography by way of corporate webinars and other engagement avenues.
- Imbibe 360 degree client coverage across products – Trade finance, FX and NRI services as a guiding principle for client coverage and execution.
- Representing ICICI Bank in various business forums in the US for increasing Bank’s visibility with a purpose to source more business for the Bank
- Contributing to the bank's marketing strategy, presentations, and other communications in order to reach out to the bank's target market clients
