Lujori Designs specializes in creating stylish interiors that reflect our clients' unique personalities and lifestyles. From concept development to installation, we ensure each project is completed to the highest standards of quality, providing a seamless and stress-free experience for our clients. We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented design student to join us part-time as a Design & Projects Assistant. This is a hands-on, real-world role working directly alongside our principal designer on active residential projects. You will be involved from concept through install, touching everything from product sourcing to client visits to keeping projects running smoothly. If you are organized, creative, and ready to get your hands dirty in the day-to-day of design, we would love to meet you.
What You Will Do
- Assist with product and material selection
- Attend client visits and take detailed meeting notes
- Support day-to-day project tasks and coordination
- Help build and maintain project timelines and keep things organized
- Assist with vendor and trade sourcing across materials, furniture, and finishes
- Help prepare client-facing presentations and mood boards
- Assist with site measurements
- Manage and organize physical samples library
- Run local errands including showroom visits, sample pickups, and drop-offs
- Light social media support including photographing finished spaces and pulling content
What We are Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an Interior Design program
- Strong organizational skills – you keep things tidy, tracked, and on time
- Clear, professional communication with clients, vendors, and collaborators
- A genuine eye for detail, materials, and what makes a space feels right
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Valid driver license and reliable transportation – local travel is part of the role
- Prior experience is a plus but not required – we care more about attitude and curiosity than your resume
