Spyglass Talent Solutions, a retained recruitment firm based in Raleigh, NC, has been engaged by a North Carolina-based real estate firm to conduct a search for a Junior Analyst.

Based in Raleigh, NC, the Junior Analyst will play a supporting role in acquisitions, dispositions, development, and asset management activities. This individual will assist with financial modeling, market research, and due diligence, while contributing to investment committee materials under the guidance of senior team members. The ideal candidate brings relevant real estate experience, foundational technical skills, and eagerness to grow in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment. This role will report to the Senior Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and maintaining financial models (primarily in Excel) for acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development
- Support preparation of pro formas, discounted cash flow analyses, and investment summaries
- Contribute to financial analysis projects and assist in supporting client transactions
- Conduct market research and compile property and market data into clear reports
- Assist in preparing presentations, BOVs, and offering memorandums for clients and investment committees
- Support the review and audit of financial models to help ensure accuracy and reliable assumptions
- Collaborate with brokers and senior analysts to confirm project scope and deliver clear, accurate analyses
- Manage online listings across CoStar/LoopNet, CREXI, and other platforms
- Support data management by maintaining CRM systems, KPIs, and property databases
- Track industry trends and market fundamentals to support deal strategy
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support quality standards across all deliverables
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate investment, development, brokerage, or asset management
- Foundational financial modeling skills in Excel, including familiarity with cash flow, IRR, sensitivity analysis, and scenario modeling
- Basic knowledge of real estate valuation, capital markets, and investment principles
- Exposure to Argus Enterprise, CoStar, LoopNet, or other industry software is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
