Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interior Design Assistant based in Ventura, CA. The Interior Design Assistant will support the design team in the creation and execution of projects by assisting in space planning, 3D modeling, developing floor plans, and sourcing furniture and materials. The role also includes communication with clients and vendors, maintaining project documentation, and contributing to the coordination of design installations. This position offers an opportunity to work closely within a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality designs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and developing detailed Floor Plans
- Experience and knowledge in Interior Design and Furniture selection
- Strong Communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and vendors
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar is a plus
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
- A passion for design, creativity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the luxury or high-end design market is an advantage
