Role Description
Cherry Los Angeles is seeking aspiring designers eager to gain real industry experience. If you are a design student and are passionate about iconic and vintage-inspired apparel, we would love for you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the design and development team.
- Assist with organization of the entire design process — from maintaining design boards to fabric libraries.
- Assist with tech packs and sketches in Illustrator.
- Support with production runs throughout downtown Los Angeles
- Coordinate and issue sample and production purchase orders
- Participate in fabric and color selection.
- Conduct market research where applicable for the brand.
- Attend fittings for all categories and take notes. Follow up with cross-functional teams where needed.
- Assist with styling for campaign and influencer seeding.
Qualifications
- Must be working towards a bachelor's degree as a current Design Student
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Graphic Design, and Graphics-related tasks
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- A self-starter who takes initiative to solve problems.
- Passion for the fashion industry and luxury design
