Junior Interior Designer

Interior Inspirations, a boutique interior design firm in Manhattan Beach, is seeking a Junior Interior Designer with strong technical skills and a passion for creating thoughtful, beautiful spaces. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, eager to learn, and excited to grow within a collaborative studio environment.
Responsibilities
- Support senior designers with project development from concept through installation
- Produce accurate drawings, floor plans, elevations, and construction documents using AutoCAD
- Create 3D models and visualizations in SketchUp
- Assist with sourcing materials, finishes, and furnishings
- Prepare client presentations, mood boards, and design packages
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and fabricators
- Conduct site visits, take measurements, and document existing conditions
- Provide general design and administrative support as needed
Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (required)
- Proficiency in SketchUp (required)
- Degree in Interior Design or related field preferred
- Strong eye for design, detail, and spatial problem‑solving
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with FF&E sourcing is a plus
- Positive attitude, team‑oriented mindset, and willingness to learn
