Role Description This part-time, on-site role as an Assistant Designer is based in Los Angeles, CA. The Assistant Designer will assist in creating and finalizing designs, support product development processes, and collaborate closely with other members of the design and production teams. Responsibilities include creating design drafts, creating & updating mood boards, researching fashion trends, selecting materials, and providing support throughout the production lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in drawing, sketching, and creating digital design concepts
- Knowledge of fashion trends, materials, colors, and garment construction techniques
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Excellent organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within a design team & factories.
- Prior experience or internships in the fashion industry required.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field is strongly preferred but not required.
- A passion for sustainable and eco-conscious design is highly valued.
