What does Demo Duck do?
Demo Duck creates videos that tell stories, educate customers, explain the complex, and humanize brands. We're a team of 13 folks, across various roles, who all share the same passion for video.
What will you get out of this internship?
This is a paid internship designed to give students and recent graduates hands-on video agency experience over the span of a few months. This position will give the design intern direct access to the experience behind all aspects of creating videos for clients. Primary tasks will involve you designing initial style frames on a few client projects or pitches, creative directing a custom social media post for Demo Duck, and assisting the concepting and pitching of at least one client project. Of course, youʼll also get a chance to meet, mingle, and pick the brains of most of the Ducks, and collaborate with our trusted freelance creatives as well.
Apply if you...
- Are a college student, or recent graduate, working toward a career in graphic design, visual design, visual communications, or motion design
- Can work 40 hours a week Monday-Friday, for ~8 weeks, starting in June through August 2026 (remote or Chicago-based applicants welcome)
- Have experience creating illustrated content for motion design ideally work featuring typography, footage/photography, and iconography
- Have experience with Illustrator and Photoshop, working knowledge of After Effects a plus but not required
