Position Summary
The Warehouse Lead supports daily warehouse operations within a fast-paced 3PL environment, ensuring efficient execution of inbound, outbound, and inventory processes. This role acts as a front-line leader, overseeing team performance, driving productivity, and ensuring service levels for both B2B and B2C/eCommerce clients are consistently met.
The Warehouse Lead partners closely with supervisors and cross-functional teams to maintain operational excellence, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of warehouse associates to meet daily productivity, quality, and safety goals
- Coordinate daily activities across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations
- Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment for both B2B and B2C/eCommerce customers
- Monitor KPIs (productivity, accuracy, on-time shipping) and address performance gaps
- Assist with training, coaching, and development of warehouse associates
- Support labor planning and shift execution based on volume and priorities
- Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate when needed
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and quality requirements
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper system usage (WMS)
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, client services, and other departments
Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, preferably in a 3PL environment
- Experience supporting B2B, B2C, and eCommerce fulfillment operations
- Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes: receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control
- Experience with WMS systems and RF scanners
- Ability to read and interpret reports, KPIs, and productivity metrics
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Warehouse environment with exposure to moving equipment and moderate to high noise levels
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to [25] lbs as required)
- Use of warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, RF scanners, and computers
