Basic Qualifications
2+ years professional experience required
Knowledge and an understanding of the fundamental concepts of structural dynamics, random vibration theory, and digital signal analysis.
Knowledge of setting up and running vibration test equipment and temperature/humidity chambers for testing.
Requires active Secret clearance or higher
Job Description
Mechanical Engineer to perform hands on production support, research, and product development. Responsible for research, specifications, planning, design, development, and testing of aerospace products. Performs research and/or product development testing encompassing multiple engineering disciplines, such as electrical, and mechanical. This is an opportunity for a Research Engineer to work in the Environmental Test Lab.
Desired Skills
Strong communication and computer skills.
Experience with NI LabView or equivalent.
Experience in technical writing for development of test reports and procedures.
Experience working with test equipment in an industry setting.
