General Description:
The Retail Operations Coordinator will manage inventory, receiving, product distribution and directing of staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Demonstrates our One Team philosophy of Passion, Accountability, Customer Focus, and Teamwork.
- Receiving of all incoming products, both physically and through the retail system
- Distribution of new & reordered products to all retail locations, including applicable paperwork
- Replenishment of product to all retail locations utilizing system reporting
- Completion of all applicable paperwork for replenishments, transfers, adjustments & receiving
- Organization and maintenance of warehouse
- Responsible for hiring and training of warehouse employees
- Complete retail location set ups for all home games.
- Assists in maintenance of all POS registers
- Assists in developing marketing ideas for the Team Shop and retail stands for games and online
- Participates in development of pop-up shop opportunities as requested, in some instances taking the lead on the project
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities for assigned staff in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing issues and solving problems and regularly communicating with staff.
- Other applicable duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years’ experience
- BS/BA degree preferred
- Knowledge of Inventory & POS Systems
- Experience with warehousing in a retail sales environment
- Experience managing staff and creating a team-oriented environment
- Must demonstrate initiative and creativity
- Must have ability and willingness to work long days, evenings, and weekends
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.
PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use handle, or feel, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear.
- The vision requirement includes close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- The nature of position requires physical mobility and the ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
- Must be able to adjust to changing work hours and locations as needed.
