Position Summary
The Regional Manager – Oral Conscious Sedation is responsible for overseeing the clinical, operational, and compliance aspects of oral conscious sedation programs across multiple dental practices within the region. This role ensures safe, effective sedation services while driving provider training, regulatory compliance, and program growth.

- Competitive salary: $85,000 – $100,000, depending on experience

Responsibilities

Program Oversight & Operations
- Lead and manage oral conscious sedation program across company.
- Partner with practice leaders to ensure consistent implementation of sedation protocols.
- Monitor scheduling, case flow, and utilization of sedation services to optimize efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to expand sedation services and increase patient access.
Clinical Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all sedation practices meet state dental board regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain compliance with sedation permits, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Oversee emergency preparedness, including equipment, medications, and staff readiness.
Training & Development
- Coordinate and support training for doctors and clinical teams on oral conscious sedation
- Ensure certification and continuing education requirements are met
- Develop onboarding processes for new providers offering sedation
- Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for clinical teams
Quality Assurance
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sedation cases
- Monitor patient outcomes and satisfaction related to sedation services
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and patient experience
Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with regional leadership, clinical directors, and compliance teams
- Act as liaison between practices and corporate leadership for sedation-related initiatives
- Support recruiting efforts for sedation-certified providers when needed
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience with oral conscious sedation programs
- Multi-site or regional management experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of state regulations related to dental sedation
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
