- Support daily and near‑term liquidity positioning across Marks, SportChek, and enterprise entities.
- Analyze drivers of cash movements and highlight emerging risks or variances to expectations.
Credit Metrics & Capital Structure
- Prepare and analyze credit metrics for Canadian Tire Corporation and CT REIT.
- Support internal credit discussions, capital structure analysis, and materials used in rating agency engagement.
- Provide analytical support for share buyback activity, ABCP rollovers, and related capital allocation decisions.
Treasury Execution & Controls
- Support execution‑related analytics for funding and liquidity activities.
- Provide backup coverage for daily cash positioning and other key treasury processes as part of a cross‑trained team model.
- Ensure outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned with internal policies and governance frameworks.
Ad Hoc Analysis & Projects
- Conduct targeted research and scenario analysis to support senior treasury decision‑making.
- Contribute to ongoing treasury initiatives and special projects as priorities evolve.
What You Bring
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; advanced Excel proficiency required.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with comfort summarizing analysis for senior stakeholders.
- Solid quantitative skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Interest in treasury, capital markets, and credit analysis.
- Analytical and intellectually curious, with a desire to understand how cash, funding, and credit decisions impact the broader business.
- Comfortable operating in an environment of change and ambiguity, using judgment rather than relying solely on precedent.
- Action‑oriented and outcome‑focused, with a willingness to challenge assumptions and improve existing processes.
- Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across Finance and Treasury.
