We're hiring a Growth Manager — Lifecycle to be a hands-on, execution-first operator and a true right-hand partner to the Director of Growth Marketing on all things email and SMS.
This role is for someone who:
- Loves being in Klaviyo — building, testing, and optimizing
- Is highly organized and can manage a weekly campaign calendar without dropping anything
- Is excited to take messaging direction and translate it into flawless, on-brand sends
- Thinks about lifecycle in the context of the entire customer journey, not just open rates
You'll own email and SMS execution end-to-end, with room to grow into strategy as we scale.
What You'll Do
Email & SMS Campaign Execution
- Build, QA, and deploy email and SMS campaigns in Klaviyo on a weekly cadence
- Take campaign messaging direction and monthly content calendar from the Director of Growth and translate into fully executed sends — copy, creative briefing, segmentation, scheduling
- Own the promotional and evergreen send calendar — coordinate timing across product launches, sales, and retention moments
- Improve campaign lead time from 2-3 days to a 7-day standard for all sends
- Monitor deliverability, list health, and segmentation hygiene
A/B Testing & Optimization
- Run structured A/B tests across subject lines, send times, copy angles, CTAs, and creative formats
- Build a testing cadence that compounds — every send teaches us something
- Translate test results into clear recommendations for campaign strategy and creative direction
Landing Page & CRO Support
- Leverage lifecycle send data to inform landing page and PDP testing priorities
- Collaborate with Director of Growth and web agency on CRO experiments tied to lifecycle traffic
- Flag conversion drop-off points in the email-to-purchase funnel and propose solutions
Creative Process & Agency Management
- Brief external email/SMS creative partners with clear specs, copy direction, and visual guidance
- Manage the creative feedback loop and keep campaigns on schedule
- Build repeatable templates and brand-approved asset libraries to increase throughput
Reporting & Insights
- Track and report on email and SMS performance weekly: revenue, open rates, click rates, conversion, list growth
- Conduct cohort and flow analysis to identify gaps and opportunities across the customer journey
- Translate data into clear recommendations for the Director of Growth
Requirements
- 1-3 years in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or ecommerce growth at a DTC brand or agency
- Hands-on Klaviyo expertise — you can build flows, segments, campaigns, and reporting without hand-holding
- Strong project management instincts — you keep campaigns on schedule and hold creative partners accountable
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment with weekly shipping expectations
- Excellent written communication — you write clear briefs, compelling copy, and concise performance updates
- Strong analytical mindset — comfortable reading campaign data and translating it into action
What We're Looking For
- You are driven by a high-growth environment
- You want to be hands-on keyboard — in the platforms, not just overseeing
- You enjoy building, testing, and optimizing — not just reporting on what happened
- You're excited to be a right-hand partner, not just execute tasks
- You're curious, proactive, and growth-minded
- You care about outcomes, not vanity metrics
Nice to Have
- Experience with subscription commerce (Recharge, Stay.AI, Skio, or similar)
- Familiarity with Postscript or similar SMS platforms
- Working knowledge of Shopify (themes, metafields, basic Liquid)
- Background in health, wellness, or sports nutrition brands
- Experience managing agency creative partners
- Comfort with AI-assisted workflows and productivity tools (we use Claude, ClickUp, Granola)
Benefits
- Competitive compensation
- Fully-paid health, dental, and vision insurance
- Manhattan office with a flexible hybrid setup and generous PTO
