Our people and culture make the difference. While global in presence and reach, ours is a close, collaborative community of just over 3,000 professionals. Lazard is a place of continuous knowledge sharing, skill development and relationship building, where professionals grow and succeed together. Our entrepreneurial culture, flat structure and embrace of individual differences, allow creative ideas, original concepts, and unique perspectives to drive our business forward — and for careers to take flight.
We are looking for an Investor Relations Analyst. You will play a critical role in supporting Lazard's engagement with the investment community by helping to develop and communicate a clear, consistent narrative around the firm's financial performance, strategy, and long-term value creation. - Developing clear, consistent messaging across earnings materials, investors meetings and conferences and broader external communications
- Translating complex financial and strategic topics into clear, concise narratives for senior management and external audiences
Market Intelligence & Positioning
- Monitoring sell-side research to identify market trends, perception shifts, and insights on Lazard's performance; synthesizing and communicating findings to senior management
- Tracking peer performance, valuation, and messaging to inform Lazard's positioning
- Analyzing shareholder ownership including 13F filings to monitor investor base and identify target opportunities
Investor Engagement
- Supporting coordination of investor meetings, conferences, and non-deal roadshows
- Preparing briefing materials for the Head of Strategy & Investor Relations and senior management ahead of investor interactions, including investor profiles, key themes, and anticipated questions
Successful Candidates Will Need
- 2 or more years of experience in equity research, investment banking, asset management, or investor relations
- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation, and capital markets
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex topics into clear messaging
- High attention to detail with strong project management capabilities
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required; familiarity with S&P Capital IQ (including Cap Access) and CRM platforms preferred
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and to work effectively with executive management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
