Commando is seeking a highly analytical and execution-focused Amazon & Marketplaces Specialist to own and optimize our presence across Amazon and key digital marketplaces. This role is responsible for driving profitable growth, elevating brand presentation, and managing performance marketing across retailer platforms.
This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of ecommerce, digital marketing, merchandising, and inventory strategy—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to scale a premium brand.
This position is based in South Burlington, VT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive end-to-end management of Commando’s Amazon business across Seller and Vendor Central
- Lead inventory strategy, including forecasting, replenishment, in-stock management, and overall inventory health (sell-through, aging, and storage costs)
- Manage and optimize FBA and FBM to drive sales, margin, and operational efficiency; determine fulfillment approach by SKU
- Partner with operations and planning to ensure inventory flow supports growth while minimizing risk
- Optimize product listings and PDPs (titles, bullets, A+ content, imagery) to drive conversion while maintaining premium brand standards
- Manage catalog integrity, product launches, and assortment strategy
- Support and manage additional marketplace channels; identify new marketplace opportunities
- Own retail media and Sponsored Product Ads across Amazon and key platforms, including budget management, keyword strategy, bid optimization, and partnership with external agencies while maintaining internal ownership of performance
- Analyze performance across channels, build reporting, and translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Ensure all marketplace touchpoints reflect Commando’s luxury-technical positioning; monitor reviews and escalate product or quality issues
Qualifications & Skills
- 3–6+ years of experience managing Amazon and/or digital marketplaces
- Strong experience with Amazon inventory management, including FBA and FBM optimization
- Deep understanding of the Amazon ecosystem, including SEO, algorithms, advertising, and logistics
- Experience managing retail media and sponsored product ads (Amazon Ads, Criteo, etc.)
- Highly analytical with strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and cross-functional communication skills
- Experience in apparel, fashion, or premium/luxury brands preferred
- Ownership mindset with the ability to manage performance end-to-end
- Data-driven, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
