Administrative Assistant II - PMIS (Part-Time) Up to 29 hours per week, schedule may vary

What You'll Do
You'll support City Utilities Engineering by helping keep projects organized, documented, and moving forward. From managing project data in PMIS to coordinating documents and supporting capital projects, you'll play a key role behind the scenes of work that impacts the entire community.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain project data within the Project Management Information System (PMIS) • Assist with document management, project tracking, and system updates/testing • Coordinate project submittals, manuals, contracts, and bid documents • Partner with engineers and project managers to prepare reports, presentations, and documentation • Maintain organized records, assist with process improvements, and support administrative workflows
What You Bring | Education & Experience
- Associate's Degree in Business, Office Administration, Public Administration, or related field preferred • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Certifications
- Valid Indiana Driver's License (if operating a City vehicle)
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and document management systems • Ability to learn and support PMIS and platforms like Autodesk BIM Docs or Accela • Comfortable working with technical documents, reports, and project data
