You’re the kind of person who’s already tracking what’s happening before it trends, and you’re ready to learn how to turn those insights into stories, media opportunities, collaborative connections, and earned/social focused campaigns that actually move people (and metrics).
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Learn the Craft
You’re building the foundation of strong communication, client service, and strategic thinking with guidance and support from your team.
- Support development of client presentations, reports, and materials with clear, thoughtful contributions
- Communicate professionally and effectively across emails, documents, and internal and external discussions
- Build strong working relationships through responsiveness, collaboration, and follow-through
- Develop a working understanding of Taylor’s business, offerings, and how we support client goals
Tell Stories That Stick
You help turn ideas into clear, compelling stories across channels.
- Assist in writing press materials including releases, fact sheets, and media kits
- Support messaging development and pitch materials aligned to client objectives
- Contribute to brainstorms tied to sports moments, cultural trends, and brand narratives
Make Media Moves
You’re gaining hands-on experience in media relations and influencer engagement.
- Conduct media monitoring and track coverage across print, digital, broadcast, and social
- Build and maintain media lists across relevant verticals
- Support pitching efforts and help identify timely media opportunities
- Begin developing awareness of key media and influencer relationships
Help Bring Ideas to Life
You keep work organized, moving, and execution-ready.
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, notes, and materials for internal and client teams
- Support project management through timelines, trackers, and status updates
- Assist with events, media tours, influencer programs, and other activations
- Help manage community engagement across social platforms
Stay Curious, Think Ahead
You’re learning how strategy connects to culture, business, and results.
- Conduct research, media monitoring, and competitive audits
- Support reporting and recaps with data and key insights
- Contribute to client-ready materials that translate activity into impact

- Complete timesheets on time and with accuracy
- Support budget tracking and expense reconciliation

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant internship or early professional experience
- 1+ years of experience in PR, communications, marketing, or related field
- Strong interest in sports, culture, and how brands show up authentically within them
- Familiarity with social media and influencer ecosystems
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail
- A growth mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Based in the New York Metro area, with the ability to be in our Manhattan office as needed
