We are seeking a remote Manager of FP&A. What You'll Be Doing:The Manager of FP&A serves as a strategic and operational finance business partner to leadership and cross-functional teams, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. This role shares in the administration of NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, drives forecasting and detailed budget vs. actual analysis in collaboration with business partners, and has a process improvement mindset to deliver timely, insightful financial reporting that enables sound business decisions.
1. Partner with department leaders, the CFO, CEO, and VP, Financial Planning & Analysis as a trusted finance advisor - translating financial data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic and operational decisions.
2. Support the budgeting process and rolling forecast cycles end-to-end, ensuring cross-functional alignment with company strategy and financial targets for assigned areas.
3. Identify revenue-generating and expense efficiency opportunities based on understanding of department and business economics.
4. Perform detailed budget vs. actual variance analysis with business unit leaders, clearly communicating drivers, risks, and opportunities, and recommending corrective actions where needed.
5. Support process improvement initiatives within FP&A to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and automate core reporting - freeing the team to focus on high-value analysis and insight generation.
6. Apply critical thinking and supportive business cases/analysis to determine financial impact of new initiatives, investments, and capital expenditures.
7. Oversee development of reporting packages that support CFO and executive team monthly finance and business reviews, and quarterly operating reviews. Prepare quarterly Board materials along with monthly revenue and operations deep dives and operating reviews as well as other ad hoc presentations as needed.
8. Serve as a primary administrator for NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, including model maintenance, user management, and workflow configuration. Coordinate support and manage ongoing system enhancements as needed.
9. Foster a collaborative team culture centered on identifying the "so what" behind the numbers and continuously raising the quality, accuracy, and relevance of financial reporting.
10. Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience).
2. 5+ years of progressive financial planning and analysis experience.
3. Experience administering or using NetSuite Planning & Budgeting or a comparable enterprise planning platform would be preferred but not required.
4. Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or Claude in a finance focused capacity a plus.
5. Proven ability to partner with and present to senior and executive leadership teams.
6. Demonstrated proactive problem-solving skills.
7. Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear business recommendations.
8. High accounting aptitude and deep understanding of complex financial needs of the business.
9. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required; SQL experience a plus.
10. Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills.
11. Superior written and verbal communication.
