Position Description: The Health and Compliance group at CGI Federal is looking for Business Analysts who can be part of a large team in a dynamic and changing environment. Projects include software solution development and maintenance for mission critical applications in the federal healthcare space.
The projects utilize rapid design and development techniques to respond to client demands for meeting the challenges of healthcare reform and open government directives. CGI Federal provides in-depth functional and technical expertise, offering clients a focused set of solutions that help federal health organizations to become more productive, cost-effective, secure and service-oriented.
Your future duties and responsibilities: The successful candidate will interface with CGI Federal clients to gather business and functional requirements, and perform technical analysis for the development of a business data warehouse supporting operational, tactical and strategic analysis of program data.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
. Identify and validate clients' business needs and requirements
. Lead requirements workshops/JAD sessions to identify business needs, functional and system requirements
. Analyze and develop mockups based on business understanding. Prototype user interface designs using Visio, Excel and/or other design tools
. Produce detailed requirements documents, including use cases and requirements traceability matrices and other the project required templates
. Provide leadership and direction to more junior business analysts
. Collaborate with the development and testing team to ensure implementation of the needed business, functional and system requirements
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 3-5 years of Business Analysis experience
. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills
. Experience in requirement development for large scale high transaction applications.
. Possess excellent client interaction skills in support of formal requirements gathering sessions (e.g., JAD sessions), as well as informal requirements sessions (e.g., one-on-one meetings)
. Quick learner with experience working in fact-paced environments
Desired Experience:
. Experience with Centers form Medicare and Medicaid Services, and/or health care provider data and online data submission process
. Experience using JIRA for requirements management and defect tracking
. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years directly related work experience is required.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $56,600.00 - $139,300.00.
