About the Role:
Kaleidoscope is expanding its marketing team to support a growing slate of science, tech, and culture shows. As a Marketing Intern, you’ll support marketing, partnerships, and audience growth by pitching media and podcasts, tracking cultural moments, engaging with listeners across platforms, and helping identify guesting and cross-promotion opportunities. This is a hands-on role for someone curious about how great storytelling finds its audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting and refining outreach emails for press and podcast guesting
- Monitor comments, DMs, and conversations across platforms
- Engage with listeners, creators, and relevant communities
- Identify podcasts for guesting and feed swaps
- Track cultural moments, events, and timely hooks for PR
- Support lightweight competitive and audience research
- Design and create social graphics and perform light audio/video editing, such as clip prep and cutdowns.
- Review and edit marketing materials for clarity and tone while preparing assets for launches and promotional campaigns
Qualifications:
- Currently studying as an undergraduate in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related fields.
- A true love of podcasts and the drive to be curious
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite is a plus)
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Compensation:
This internship is for college credit only. You must verify eligibility for college credit with your College or University Career Center. Accepting credit hours is not required to accept the position if offered. Flexible hours and hybrid office structure.
