Business Development Associate - Wealth Management

Compensation: Base salary starting at $55,000 plus commission

Kingswood US is seeking a Wealth Management Recruiter to join its New York office. This role is responsible for supporting the firm’s growth through the identification, engagement, and recruitment of experienced financial advisors to the Kingswood platform.
This position combines elements of business development and talent acquisition, with a focus on proactive outreach and relationship management. The successful candidate will engage directly with senior professionals across the wealth management industry and manage the recruitment process from initial contact through onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute targeted outreach to experienced financial advisors through phone, email, LinkedIn, and industry databases.
- Conduct outbound calling efforts to introduce Kingswood’s platform and assess potential alignment.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective advisor candidates.
- Evaluate candidate profiles and coordinate introductory discussions with senior leadership.
- Manage the recruitment process from initial engagement through offer and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and pipeline progression.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to define recruiting priorities and target profiles.
- Represent Kingswood professionally in all external interactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; finance, business, economics, or related fields preferred.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; prior exposure to sales, recruiting, or client-facing roles is beneficial.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and organized manner.
- Interest in financial services, wealth management, or business development.
- High degree of professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail.
