Junior Designer

We're a small architecture studio based in downtown San Jose with a satellite office in SF, working on a wide variety of commercial and hospitality projects across the greater Bay Area. We're looking for our next teammate: an early-career designer who wants real responsibility, close mentorship, and a hand in every phase of a project from day one.
About the role
You'll work directly with our principal on design, documentation, and everything in between. Because we're small, you won't be siloed into one phase or one task — expect to move between schematic design, CDs, client meetings, and site visits consistently. It's a great fit if you want to grow quickly and see projects through from start to finish.
What you'll do
- Produce drawings, digital models, and construction documents across all project phases
- Help with code research, zoning analysis, and material selection
- Prepare renderings, diagrams, and presentation materials
- Contribute to design ideas, and materiality
- Visit project sites, 3D scan projects
What we're looking for
- Professional degree in architecture
- 1–3 years of experience
- Working knowledge of Revit; familiarity with SketchUp and Enscape is a plus
- Desire to learn and ask questions
- Strong portfolio, communication, and organizational skills
- Team oriented approach
