About the Role QI Collective is offering a structured design internship for students looking to develop professional skills within a multi-brand fashion house. This is a learning-first experience — you'll work closely with our Art Director to build your design vocabulary, understand brand systems, and observe how a creative team operates across email, social, and web.
This internship is designed to complement academic coursework and is suitable for students seeking credit through their institution.
What You'll Learn
- How multi-brand design systems are built and maintained across a fashion portfolio
- The process behind designing for EDMs, social media, and digital lookbooks — from brief to final file
- Production workflows: file organization, asset management, and handoff best practices
- Photo and video editing techniques as used in a real brand environment
- How to give and receive creative feedback in a professional setting
What You'll Do
- Participate in design briefings and observe the full creative process alongside the Art Director
- Learn how to use brand templates across email, social, and lookbook formats
- Learn professional image editing skills during production and post-production workflows
- Assist with file organization and asset archiving as a learning component of production management
What We're Looking For
- A portfolio demonstrating layout, typography, and color sensibility
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Fashion, lifestyle, or retail exposure is a plus but not required
- Currently enrolled in a graphic design or related program; school credit preferred
