Wage: $56,014.40 - $71,864.00 (starting wage contingent upon experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Job Summary
Under general direction, conducts on-site inspections related to subdivision improvements,
sidewalk repair program and Public Works projects, including materials testing and
recordkeeping. Prescribes action for conformance to code, standards, plans and specifications.
Minimum Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure, Other
Associates degree from an accredited educational institution; or two years of related
experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in heavy
construction or related. Valid State of Iowa driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
Must be 18 years of age. Must pass criminal background check.
Preferred Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure, Other
Associates degree from an accredited educational institution and one year of related experience;
or three years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
State of Iowa Department of Transportation certifications in Level 1 and 2 Aggregate, Level 1 PCC
and Level 1 HMA.
