Event Sales Specialist (NYC – Hybrid | Full-Time + Commission)

Role Summary
This is a full-time hybrid position based in New York City (Midtown or nearby required). The Event Sales Specialist is responsible for driving event bookings, managing client relationships, and coordinating with internal teams to execute successful events. The role combines sales, client communication, and event planning in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Location
- Hybrid role (NYC-based, Midtown or nearby)
- Full-time, 10: 00 AM – 7:00 PM
*MUST BE ABLE TO LEARN HUBSPOT (CRM) , SLACK (Communication)*
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound event leads and maintain an organized sales pipeline
- Communicate with clients via email, phone, and messaging
- Qualify leads and guide clients through the booking process
- Present event packages, create proposals/contracts, and close deals
- Coordinate event logistics with internal teams
- Ensure client satisfaction from initial inquiry through event execution
- Track leads, deals, and performance metrics
Requirements
- Experience in event sales, hospitality, or a related field
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Proven ability to close sales and manage multiple leads simultaneously
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Based in NYC or nearby (required)
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and communication tools (e.g., Slack)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in event venues, nightlife, or hospitality sales
- Background in event planning and logistics
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred, not required)
Compensation
- $800/week base salary
- Commission on closed events (details discussed during interview)
