Sales Support Specialist
The Sales Support Specialist plays a vital role in supporting customers, brokers, sales managers, and internal teams at Katjes USA. This position ensures seamless communication across departments while providing accurate and timely information on pricing, inventory, order status, and customer requests.
As Katjes continues to expand in the U.S. market, this role is instrumental in anticipating customer needs, identifying opportunities, and enabling the sales team with proactive, solution-oriented support. The Sales Support Specialist collaborates cross-functionally to improve processes, strengthen customer relationships, and help scale operations as we grow the Katjes brand in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, brokers, and internal teams regarding pricing, order status, and general inquiries
- Monitor open orders and identify trends related to compliance, logistics fill rates, and pricing agreements
- Maintain and update vendor guides, agreements, routing guides, and customer profiles (including promotions and special requirements)
- Prepare reports and analyses to support sales team decision-making
- Track customer and regional performance scorecards and review demand forecasts
- Communicate proactively with brokers and customers to resolve questions and issues efficiently and professionally
- Ensure all shared information across departments is accurate, complete, and well-organized
- Review monthly chargebacks and compliance fines; implement corrective actions to reduce future penalties
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the growth of Katjes USA
Qualifications
- Interest in sales support, customer service, supply chain, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent professional experience
- Interest or familiarity with the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry and eCommerce environments is a plus
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- High level of integrity, ownership, and accountability
- Self-motivated with a strong bias for action and willingness to learn
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $55,000 – $70,000
- Comprehensive benefits starting Day 1
