Duties
- Guide customers through the financing process, explaining loan options, insurance coverage, and contract details clearly and confidently
- Develop strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and offering tailored financial solutions
- Collaborate with lenders to secure competitive loan terms and facilitate smooth loan processing
- Upsell additional products such as extended warranties, GAP insurance, and vehicle protection plans to enhance customer value
- Conduct credit analysis to determine appropriate financing options while ensuring compliance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations
- Negotiate terms with customers to reach mutually beneficial agreements while adhering to dealership policies
- Manage all aspects of title processing, contract preparation, and loan documentation accurately and efficiently
- Utilize financial software and perform 10-key typing tasks swiftly for data entry and processing
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including credit applications, contracts, and compliance documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Finance Manager or Loan Officer within a dealership environment
- Strong knowledge of automotive sales processes, credit analysis, and financial services industry standards
- Excellent customer relationship management skills combined with outstanding customer service abilities
- Proficiency in negotiation techniques to close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with TILA regulations, title processing procedures, and contract management
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for calculations related to loans and payments
- Experience with financial software systems used in automotive finance departments
- Skilled in upselling additional products that benefit both the customer and the dealership’s profitability
- Strong understanding of deal structuring, credit analysis, and loan processing workflows
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
