We are seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to support manufacturing operations through plant layout design, process optimization, and CAD-based engineering projects. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who wants hands-on exposure to production environments, equipment integration, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
What You’ll Do
- Create and modify plant layouts, equipment drawings, and manufacturing designs using SolidWorks and CAD software
- Support process optimization and continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency, safety, and throughput
- Assist with equipment installations, workflow improvements, and manufacturing line updates
- Work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to solve production challenges
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, SOPs, and technical drawings
- Participate in troubleshooting manufacturing processes and identifying root causes of operational issues
- Support capital projects and facility expansion initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering field
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and CAD software required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a plant/manufacturing environment and collaborate with production teams
- Internship, co-op, or project experience in manufacturing is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
