We are seeking an experienced and motivated Coordinator, Social Responsibility to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will support all facets of Social Responsibility for the Phoenix Suns, while playing a key role in broader department initiatives.
What You Will Do - Program management & execution.
- Lead the coordination of the volunteerism program, including planning, scheduling, participation tracking, and impact measurement.
- Support the planning and execution of Phoenix Suns community programs, events, and theme night activations.
- Provide operational and logistical support across all Social Responsibility initiatives.
- Community engagement & requests.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external Phoenix Suns community inquiries.
- Manage and respond to community requests, including ticket donations, mascot appearances, and grassroots support.
- Fan experience & strategy.
- Oversee the One Fan at a Time strategy, developing and executing meaningful, personalized fan experiences.
- Donation & inventory management.
- Manage Player 15 Group donation inventory, including storage, tracking, and distribution of community giveaway items.
- Volunteer engagement.
- Lead and execute all Phoenix Suns volunteer opportunities.
- Track volunteer participation and report on impact metrics.
- Storytelling & communications.
- Drive storytelling efforts across digital, social, and in-arena platforms to highlight community impact and upcoming initiatives.
- Support content development and storytelling opportunities in partnership with internal teams.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Partnerships, Game Presentation, Ticket Sales, and Communications to ensure seamless program execution.
- Reporting & administration.
- Assist with department reporting, recaps, and presentations.
- Support additional duties as needed to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Need From Our Coordinator, Social Responsibility
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
Experience/ Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, nonprofit management, sports management, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in community relations, volunteer coordination, or event management preferred.
